“After testing with our player Aurelian Zhuameni by the Real Madrid medical team. He has a left calf injury and is awaiting evolution.” the Real Madrid statement said.
Although Real Madrid did not give an exact timeline for their recovery. Madrid TV correspondent Arancha Rodriguez claimed that both Alaba and Zhuameni needed about three weeks to recover.
That means both Alaba and Zhuameni will miss out on the Supercopa de Espana in Saudi Arabia. As well as the Copa del Rey Round of 16 match against Villarreal. As well as two games on the Liga stage against Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad.
